Join us for a complimentary lunch followed by a presentation by the Lyn-CAG team. Who is Lyn-CAG? How can we partner? Come learn about our different programs such as Head Start, Weatherization, First Time Homebuyers Club, Employment Training, VA Cares, and so much more.

We will conclude with a tour of the Lyn-CAG facility.

Lunch will be provided by SHARE Greater Lynchburg and Freedom First.

Feature: Amazement Square Becomes the First Museum in Virginia to Earn Certified Autism Center™ Designation

The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) has named Amazement Square a Certified Autism Center™ (CAC), marking the first Museum in Virginia to earn this accolade. The CAC designation is granted to organizations that have completed training and certification to better serve autistic and sensory-sensitive visitors.

Peer-to-Peer Lunch and Learn at Miriam's House

Join us for our July Peer-to-Peer Lunch and Learn at Miriam's House on July 19, Noon-1:30pm! We will gather at 409 Magnolia Street for lunch and a time of sharing, followed by a presentation on the homeless coalition that MH has led for the past 25 years. Executive Director Sarah Quarantotto and Homeless System Coordinator Sarah Fuentes will be presenting.

We will conclude with a tour of Miriam's House. SHARE Greater Lynchburg will provide lunch.

Peer-to-Peer Lunch and Learn with Mission Thrift

We will gather at the Freedom 4/24 and Sports Outreach Meeting Room (2306 Bedford Ave.) for lunch and a time of sharing, followed by a collaborative presentation on the Mission Thrift model, vision and plan. We will conclude by walking across the street for a behind-the-scenes tour of Mission Thrift. Lunch will be provided by SHARE Greater Lynchburg.

Peer-to-Peer Lunch and Learn with Meals on Wheels of Greater Lynchburg

We will gather at the GLTC Transfer Station Meeting Room (800 Kemper St, Lynchburg, VA 24501) for lunch and a time of sharing, followed by a presentation by Meals on Wheels of Greater Lynchburg. The topic will be volunteer recruitment, appreciation and retention and Meals on Wheels is preparing takeaway tools for attendees.

Peer-to-Peer Lunch and Learn at Park View Community Mission

On Wednesday, April 19 from 12-1:30pm, we will gather at Park View Community Mission's Life Skills Institute (2323 Memorial Ave, Suite 26) for lunch and a time of sharing, followed by a presentation and tour.

Come take a deep dive on Park View Community Mission's six programs. You will leave with a thorough understanding of what PVCM offers, the referral processes, and how we, as nonprofit partners, can best collaborate together to strengthen our community.
