This past weekend, like many weekends before, the Academy Center of the Arts was bustling with various concerts, classes and gallery viewings for the whole community to enjoy.
The Academy provides a wide range of arts programs at increasingly affordable prices, and some events and workshops are free to the public.

It is often difficult for people with developmental and/or mental health disabilities to stay connected with caseworkers and generally make sure they are equipped with what they need.
Wall Opportunities and Wishes (WOW) aims to serve this population and meets needs that go above and beyond basic connection between clients and caseworkers, one of the organizations’ largest outreaches.
No matter what cause you are interested in, you have the ability to use your talents to help further a local nonprofit's mission. Find a job that interests you and DO GOOD work!

As a nonprofit organization that focuses on teenagers, IRON (I am Responsible for Overcoming Negativity) Lives did the majority of their programming inside K-12 schools until COVID-19 forced them to expand their work into public community spaces.
