What We Do
Vector Space is a makerspace and community workshop with the mission to build an open and collaborative community that fosters innovation, creativity, and the pursuit of science based knowledge. We are a non-profit community makerspace. Our founders and staff are passionate about making, and teaching others to make. We believe the most rewarding things in life are hands-on experiences shared with others. Services include membership, skill-building classes, and arts and engineering programs for teens. Scholarships and community outreach are integral to our mission.
This February Vector Space is turning five! We're celebrating with a virtual fundraising auction. From February 15 through February 20, bid on items from our makers including art, home goods, fashion accessories, private lessons, and more. Every item is either made here in Central Virginia, or designed to inspire you to make something. Our community has put together some truly remarkable work, including several one-of-a-kind items.
