Kids' Haven: A Center for Grieving Children's mission is to serve the unique needs of grieving children and their families through support and education. We carry out support by providing free grief support programs, resources, and services for grieving children, teens, and their families in the Greater Lynchburg Area. Kid's Haven provides peer support groups led by our specially trained facilitators through our Family Grief Support Group Night program and partners with schools in the Greater Lynchburg Area to provide peer grief support groups during the school day. We also offer grief education materials and resources for children and families needing support along their grief journey.

- Kids' Haven: A Center for Grieving Children is the only grief center in Central Virginia and the only children's grief center in a community of this size.
- We provided grief support services at no cost to: 3 School Divisions, 13 Schools, and 161 Groups.
- We have over 1,500 Individual Participant Hours of direct bereavement support.
