Tirelessly devoted in serving the older adults and persons with disabilities by providing nutrition services, medical and non-medical transportation, care services, lifetime enrichment services (evidence-based), health and wellness services, and housing services in Central Virginia, specifically Region 2000. It is the mission of CVACL to support older adults and persons with disabilities to live with dignity in accordance with their own personal choice. Our ultimate goal is to enrich the lives of the older adults and persons with disabilities in Central Virginia. We achieve this by closing gaps (food insecurity, malnutrition, absence of caregiver support, transportation disparities, social isolation) to meet the ultimate needs of our clients.
- We served over 2,200 clients in 2022
- Our organization served over 106,000 Hot Meals at no cost to the client. We provided over 5,500 Medical Transportation Rides in Region 2000.
- To bring awareness to the needs of Older Adults in Region 2000 so they can live their best life at home with dignity and respect.
