Second Chance Families Project is offering meaningful internship opportunities for students and emerging professionals passionate about helping families overcome hardship and reunite with their children.
Our organization works to prevent family separation caused by homelessness, addiction, or incarceration — giving parents the tools and support to rebuild their lives. As an intern, you’ll gain real-world experience in nonprofit management, community engagement, and advocacy while directly impacting families in need.
Internship Areas:
Case Management Support: Assist with intake, data organization, and follow-ups for family support programs.
Community Outreach & Advocacy: Engage with local partners, attend events, and help raise awareness.
Marketing & Communications: Contribute to social media, newsletters, and storytelling that share our mission.
Fundraising & Development: Support donor outreach, grant research, and event planning.
Administrative Support: Help with scheduling, recordkeeping, and daily nonprofit operations.
Ideal Candidates:
College students or recent graduates in social work, psychology, communications, public administration, or related fields
Strong communicators with compassion, initiative, and professionalism
