The Red Kettle Campaign is The Salvation Army's annual fundraising effort, supporting local programs that provide food, shelter, and assistance to those in need. Volunteers play a key role by ringing bells at kettle locations throughout the community, inviting donations that help change lives. By volunteering your time, you become a vital part of this tradition, directly contributing to the impact we can make in the Lynchburg area during the holiday season. Every hour you serve helps bring hope and support to families facing hardships.
Individual volunteer shifts are two (2) hours long each. Families are welcome to ring together. Children and youth under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Groups are also welcome to take a day, and fill the six shifts with volunteers from their group!
