You may love the James because of the beautiful views, and the calming waters or because you can't wait to paddle, fish, or picnic along its shores. For all of us who live and work around its power and beauty, the James is the source of our water and critical to the health of our environment and economy. Now it is time to give back! After the cleanup, volunteers will meet back at Starr Hill on Main for an after-party where you'll receive a free "Love your River" t-shirt and the opportunity to win some fantastic raffle prizes! *Everyone is welcome in the taproom, but only registered adults 21 or older will receive a t-shirt.
VOLUNTEERS SHOULD COME DRESSED FOR THE WEATHER WITH A GOOD PAIR OF WALKING SHOES AND ARE ENCOURAGED TO BRING SUNSCREEN, BUG REPELLENT, AND A WATER BOTTLE. TRASH BAGS AND GRAB STICKS WILL BE PROVIDED. SPACES ARE LIMITED.
