Kids' Haven: A Center for Grieving Children

By providing a meal for our participants, you are helping to lighten their load and remove one obstacle that could keep them from attending Family Group Night. The meal is also a vital part of what happens at Family Group Night. We have found that the friendships formed around the dinner tables lay a foundation for what happens during group time.

Meal providing for a Family Group Night consists of: preparing (purchase or prepare) and serving dinner for the families attending Kids' Haven Family Grief Support Group Night.

Meal Makers may be organizations, clubs, families, or individuals. Meals should be family and kid-friendly and serve 30-35 people. The meal schedule is coordinated by Kids' Haven staff. Family Group Nights occur twice monthly on Monday evenings, from 6 pm-7:30 pm, throughout the school year (please visit our website for our Family Group Night dates).
