Thomas Jefferson’s Poplar Forest

Poplar Forest seeks volunteers to assist with our annual Face the Forest 5k Obstacle Course Run in mid-August.

Needs include (but are not limited to): 

• Assistance building and setting up obstacles on prior to race day
• Day-of help parking cars, monitoring runners at each obstacle, manning water stations along the course, assisting with children's activities, offering refreshments to runners, and more
• Assistance breaking down and storing obstacles  after the race

All pre and post race volunteers will be eligible for a free race day registration with the completion of 2 shifts (4 hours) of work. Race day-of volunteers will be given a guest pass to tour Poplar Forest for free in the future.
