CASA of Central Virginia

We recognize that being a CASA volunteer advocate is not always the right fit for everyone. The CASA Sidekicks program allows anyone to support our organization in a variety of ways. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform at least one volunteer duty monthly from the list that is provided by CASA of Central Virginia Maintain confidentiality QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years of age Submit application Pass a basic screening and background check Possess mature judgment, high degree of responsibility, and professionalism Able to respect individuals from different cultures and backgrounds Attend an Information Session before starting duties SAMPLE ACTIVITIES: Scanning files in CASA office Helping with Child Abuse Prevention Month activities Volunteering at one of our fundraising events Helping with volunteer appreciation events Hanging CASA posters around town Provide meals for training classes Stuffing bags for events Participating as a grower for Mustaches 4 Kids Staffing a recruitment table at community events Helping with CASA mailings
