Riverviews Artspace is a contemporary art gallery, exhibition space, meeting place, digital media lab and film venue where community and creatives engage and exchange ideas to support thriving, healthy communities. Our working artists welcome guests to visit their studios and ask questions about their latest projects. We use art to connect, and ensure inclusivity and diversity by offering contemporary experiences free of charge. Our outreach programs reach underserved, socio-economically challenged minorities. We use the arts to break multi-generational poverty. We are an original anchor and active partner in the revitalization of downtown Lynchburg, and remain committed to the ongoing growth of a thriving collaborative and diverse community.
- Since 2003, more than 700 artists have connected with over 150,000 visitors and the community through contemporary exhibits and outreach programs at Riverviews.
- We use the arts to better communities. We partner with organizations like Roads to Recovery and Miriam's House to support healthy interaction with the arts.
- Our goal is to expand the contemporary arts experience through outreach programs, providing a better quality of life.
