What We Do
Peacemakers exists to prevent violence. We do this by going into the high-crime areas of our community and helping people to resolve conflicts without violence. We assist with job readiness training and workforce development. We operate a food pantry for those in need. We offer training in conflict resolution, basic first aid, CPR, and Narcan administration at no charge. We work with ex-offenders to help with locating employment as well as restoration of civil rights. We provide and install security cameras for victims of domestic violence and the elderly who cannot otherwise afford them.
Interesting Info
- We train and certify people in administering Narcan and make it available at no charge.
