No Walls removes barriers and divisions by cultivating relationships, building community and promoting education. Through a variety of endeavors, relational and material assets are shared to promote unity and understanding for the glory of God.
We offer the following Ministries:
The Open Table model is a yearlong process of building relationships with those experiencing poverty, transition from foster care or incarceration. Volunteers come from all walks of life and have one thing in common, they care about people. Eyes and hearts are opened to see how Godly relationships make powerful tools for transformation. Friends being served and volunteers alike experience lasting change.
The No Walls Appliance Ministry meets the needs of those who can't afford major appliances. We pick up donated washers, dryers, refrigerators and stoves and restore them to working condition. Then we take them out and install in the homes of our neighbors. These vital resources are easily taken for granted but have a great impact on healthy daily living.
The Gathering invites members of the College Hill neighborhood and beyond to experience community and relationship in an informal setting. Excellent home cooked meals are served at The Gospel Community Church at noon on the second Saturday of each month. Having a meal together is a way to share common interests and understanding. "Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality" Romans 12:13.
Talent and Testimony is an opportunity to enjoy an evening of entertainment, games and conversation. You will be in a relaxed coffeehouse environment at Mosaic church. Friends and neighbors share their talents and skills to engage the audience in fun and fellowship.
Youth Sports Initiative. As a founding member of The Lynchburg Area Sports initiative (LAYSI) , No Walls is collaborating with a number of other Lynchburg nonprofits to bring sports to area youth who can "play without the need to pay". Organized sports clinics and two annual events bring kids from 6-16 together at local Parks and Recreation centers to play and receive expert coaching free of charge
- No Walls has delivered and installed over 100 appliances in 2024.
