What We Do

MAKING A DIFFERENCE. The Neighborhood Outreach Connection (NOC) is dedicated to fighting poverty by improving the quality of life of people living in lower income neighborhoods. We go into underserved neighborhoods to offer help with education, workforce development and health services. We empower people by bringing services and resources to the people where they live. We create opportunities through a neighborhood Learning Center. We improve quality of life through health services provided inside the neighborhood.

Interesting Info
  • Academic Success. Students who participate in NOC's after-school programs make significant progress in math, reading and language arts.
  • Diminishing Crime Rate. NOC's presence in neighborhoods it serves helps to lower crime rates.
  • Connecting Communities. Fosters interactions among people within the community by bringing services providers into neighborhood to help people.
