What We Do
The Lynchburg Humane Society specializes in helping pets and people find happiness! We help care for the lost and homeless pets in our area and reach out to help pets in need all over Virginia. We operate the Appomattox County Pet Center and our regional South Central Spay Neuter Clinic in Evington, VA. Care is provided for almost 5,000 pets yearly and 6,000 pets yearly are spayed and neutered as we strive to have a community free of homeless and neglected pets.
