What We Do
LAYSI creates opportunities for youth to develop friendships, healthy habits, and important life skills through accessible and inclusive youth sports activities. Our mission is to to strengthen the body and character of our youth in Greater Lynchburg through sports. Through collaboration of partnering organizations, we work together to create memorable moments that promote health, team work and a love for playing the game.
Our primary events include Pop-up Sports Clinics during on off-days during the school calendar, our Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Walk for Unity, and our Winter and Summer Play Days.
