What We Do

Founded in 1999, Jubilee Family Development Center provides high quality academic, athletic, and occupational programs that foster personal, social, and spiritual growth and the stability of families. Jubilee exists as a safe haven for youth to learn and succeed academically and develop life skills, shaping their future in a positive manner while steering them away from risky and potentially life-threatening behaviors. Programs for youth include After-School Tutoring, Summer Enrichment Camp, Building Young Men Mentoring Program, and Girls Empowered for More (GEM) Mentoring Program. Jubilee serves the entire family, and provides programs, classes, and trainings for adults through our Astronaut Leland Melvin STEM Center and Bev Cosby Occupational Outreach Center. These programs, classes, and trainings help adults learn new skills leading to better employment and financial stability. It is only through our community's generosity in time, talent, and treasure that Jubilee is able to positively impact so many local lives. Thank you!
