Central Virginia Regional Rescue
What We Do
Mission: Central Virginia Regional Rescue is a volunteer based non-profit dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of regional animals into permanent and loving homes. Through education and community outreach, we aspire to eliminate the need for euthanasia as a means of pet population control.
We are a 501(c)3 organization and all donations are tax-deductible. We have no facility and all our animals live as temporary family members in foster homes.
We have no paid employees and every dollar donated goes directly to our animals. We proudly share our profits and losses monthly so our supporters can follow our finances.
We value a comprehensive adoption process which includes a strong focus on matching the right animal with the right owner to minimize future struggles within the family.
About: All animals in our care receive the recommended vaccinations and tests (FeLV/FIV testing for felines and heartworm/tick tests for canines). They all receive monthly parasite control & heartworm prevention, are spayed or neutered, & microchipped. To the extent that our finances allow, we assist animals who are in distress without regard to age, breed, or ease of placement.
Interesting Info
