Helping Horses, Helping People. People come to Brook Hill Farm with all kinds of challenges – emotional disabilities, illnesses, eating disorders, in trouble with the law, and abuse. Horses come to Brook Hill Farm from county seizures, or are lame, no longer useful to their owners, making them unwanted. At Brook Hill Farm, they come Together and Heal! In 2001, Brook Hill Farm began its mission of rescuing horses. Along the way, we discovered the magic combination of horses and people; how they help people develop life skills enabling them to have success in life. Brook Hill Farm offers alternative therapy programs with horses for people with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities, foster children, seniors, veterans and at-risk youth.
