What We Do

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lynchburg is dedicated to enhancing the lives of local youth through programs that promote academic success, leadership development, and healthy life choices. Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment where young people can thrive and realize their full potential.

We offer a variety of programs, including:

  • Power Hour: Homework help and tutoring sessions to encourage academic achievement.
  • SMART Moves: Prevention and education programs addressing issues like drug and alcohol use.
  • Triple Play: Activities focused on promoting healthy lifestyles.
  • Career Launch: Job-readiness and career preparation for teens.

Additionally, the club organizes events such as the annual Big Game 5K Run/Walk, which fosters community engagement and supports our initiatives.

Through these efforts, the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lynchburg aims to make a lasting impact on the youth in the community, guiding them toward brighter futures.
