Our Mission

The YMCA is dedicated to strengthening our community by empowering youth, promoting healthy living, and fostering social responsibility. Water Safety Day is part of our commitment to ensuring all children have the confidence and knowledge to stay safe in and around water.

This event is not a substitute for swim lessons. While children will learn important water safety skills, ongoing swim instruction helps build confidence and swimming ability over time. We encourage families to continue practicing water safety beyond this event!
