Engaging in Hard Spaces - Emotional First Aid & Suicide Prevention
Equip yourself with essential skills to navigate and support others in their most challenging moments. This training offers practical tools and strategies focused on applying Emotional First Aid specifically to suicide prevention. You’ll learn to recognize warning signs, offer immediate support, and connect individuals to appropriate resources, empowering you to make a real difference in the lives of those struggling with emotional distress and suicidal thoughts.

If you’ve ever wondered how to respond compassionately and confidently when someone is in crisis, this training is for you. We explore the realities of suicide, the difference between emotional and psychological first aid, and how to build empowering connections. Learn to journey alongside those in need, offering strength and understanding in the face of emotional crisis.

This training also provides 1.5 hours of credit applicable toward foster care license certification, recertification, and annual training requirements.
