IRON Lives, Inc.

Spring into Spring with the 11th running of the IRON 5k Run/Walk.  This traditional road course is on the streets in the town of Amherst, Virginia.

2023 COURSE:
Race day HQ and course returns to our traditional location, Amherst County High School. The starting line will be on South Main Street at the entrance to the high school. 5K participants will follow an out and back course on South Main Street towards downtown Amherst and retrace their steps to a finish line located on the AHS track. The Youth 1 Mile Fun Run (not timed) is located on the Amherst County High School track and begins at the conclusion of the 5k (approximately 4pm).

Event Description:
The Iron 5K run/walk, presented by Iron Lives Inc..  This event will benefit students, families, and the greater community who are impacted by IRON Lives programming.

IRON 5k, Sunday, April 23, 2023. Start time is 3:00PM.
Youth 1 Mile, Sunday April 23, 2023. Start time is 4:00PM.

Race start and finish is located at Amherst County High School, 139 Lancer Lane, Amherst, VA  24521

Course: 
A 3.1 mile, road course with rolling hills on the streets of the town of Amherst out and back on South Main Street.
