People with disabilities often need a legal guardian, or a change in guardianship when the current guardian is no longer able to perform their duties. Could you help a person with a disability with guardianship proceedings? This enables them to have a representative to give informed consent for services, to make decisions about medical treatment, and to manage an ABLE account to protect disability benefits. This is a short term volunteer opportunity that could really make a difference in the life of a vulnerable person.
