LYNCHBURG & HARRISONBURG, Va. — The Texas Inn, founded in 1935 in Lynchburg, Va., is proud to celebrate Pi Day this year with $3.14 slices of pie all day at all locations on Friday, March 14, 2025. As part of its celebration, Texas Inn will donate 100% of all pie sales at the Texas Inn Downtown and Texas Inn Cornerstone to Lynchburg City Schools Education Foundation in Lynchburg. Texas Inn typically sells its slices of pie for $3.99, but on Pi Day all slices are just $3.14 in honor of the universe's most irrational number. Guests can satisfy their sweet tooth craving with numerous pie varieties, including chocolate, apple, coconut meringue, lemon ice box, sweet potato, pecan, or the diner's new seasonal option — Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie. This is just the latest way the Texas Inn has offered its support to the communities it serves. I “The T Room,” as it's called by loyal regulars, has served world-famous hot dogs, burgers, a secret recipe chili, and the iconic Cheesy Western since 1935. |
