Join us for an exciting Earth Day Event at Camp Sacajawea! Our time together will be full of engaging activities where you'll get to roll up your sleeves and make a real difference for the environment. This event is also a great way to earn community service hours while having a blast! 🌱
Activities include:
🌱 Planting at Camp Sac: Dig in and plant gorgeous, pollinator-friendly plants that will help our local wildlife flourish!
🦇 Bat Box Building: Older participants will get hands-on and craft bat boxes to provide homes for local wildlife. These bat boxes will stay at Girl Scout camps, creating a lasting impact!
🐝 Bee Houses: Younger participants will create bee houses to take home and help native pollinators thrive.
🌸 Seed Bomb Crafting: Make pollinator-friendly seed bombs to take home!
🥾 Mama Stump Trail Hike: Lace up your hiking boots and explore the Mama Stump Trail and view the eagles that make their home at Camp Sacajawea to earn your very own fun patch!
🌟 Earn Community Service Hours: Each of the activities listed above is an opportunity to earn community service hours while making a positive impact on the environment and our local community.

Supervision requirements: This is NOT a drop-off event. Adult Volunteer supervision is required to participate in the session. Guardians/Troop Co-Leaders will be counted in the safety ratio for this event. No tag-a-longs or solo adult participants are permitted for this event.
Note: Be ready for outdoor fun! Wear weather-appropriate clothes, bring water to stay hydrated, and pack a picnic lunch to fuel up during our break! 🧢🍎
