About the author:
Mark Couvillon has spent the last four decades researching Patrick Henry’s life. Mark received his degree in American History and Archaeology from Longwood College. Since 1990 he has been employed by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Prior to his employment at Colonial Williamsburg, he worked for the Jamestown/Yorktown Foundation and at Red Hill. He also served as a Trustee for the Patrick Henry National Memorial.
Couvillon has written numerous articles and five books on the Patriot, including Patrick Henry’s Virginia (2001) and The Demosthenes of His Age (2013).
