Program Intern

Miller Home for Girls considers dedicated and reliable interns and volunteers to be a complement to our program. Opportunities are flexible and allow volunteers to gain experience in social work, counseling, psychology, education, and other human services fields.

Volunteers support our staff as they carry out the day-to-day operations of managing the Miller Home household by:

Assisting Miller Home staff with administrative duties during office hours.

Assisting Child Care Workers with supervision (includes evening and weekend opportunities).

Providing academic support through tutoring during study hall.

Planning recreational activities.

Mentoring residents through intentional relationship building and quality time.

Additional internship and volunteer areas include communications, fundraising, social media, and additional administrative opportunities also vital to the success of Miller Home. Contact us to learn more about these opportunities.
