What We Do
We support South-Central Virginia’s most vulnerable children and help create strong, loving families through our interconnected and evidenced-based programs in order to work towards the mission of building communities of faithful relationships that ensure children are safe, and families are restored. Patrick Henry Family Services uses four pillars of service that, along with the support of communities, serve vulnerable children and hurting families throughout the state. CARE walks alongside families to help them on a path to resilience through programs such as Safe Families for Children, Homes of Hope and Expanded Families. CAMP provides a space where kids can participate in therapeutically-intentional recreational activities. Sometimes people just need someone to talk to, and COUNSELING is here to listen because everyone’s story should be heard. CONNECT is here to help you find your place and help our local community through CarePortal. Patrick Henry Family Services connects families and children in crisis with the resources needed to find relief, restore hope and ultimately eliminate foster care as we know it.
